How long is my appointment going to take ?

As a general rule for all new clients please allow up to 4 hours for a Cut & Colour service. We recommend clients to bring their own lunch in preparation.

Do we use organic products?

Yes. O&M is ammonia free. Olaplex is used with every with colour appointment.

What is the wait to book an appointment/ Do I need to book in advance?

Yes.

Our appointment times and dates can fill very quickly. We recommend to book at least two appointments in advance each visit.

Can I book in for a consult first?

Yes of course.

We offer a consultation service if you'd prefer to visit our space and team before booking in your colour appointment. 

We require a $50 booking fee to secure the consultation, this will be credited towards your appointment booking.

What sort of shampoo and conditioner should I be using for my colour?

We highly recommend a salon grade shampoo and conditioner. We currently stock Virtue Labs, Kevin Murphy, K18 & Christophe Robin which we have a range of these products for every colour/style/hair needs/budget.

For clients with coloured hair we recommend using a colour specific shampoo and conditioner to maintain longevity with your colour and to prevent brassiness.

We also have conditioning treatments that can be used on a weekly basis to prevent brassiness and tonal changes for your hair.

We recommend talking to your stylist for a personalised product prescription to suit your hair type and colour needs.

What is a Gloss?

A Gloss is a temporary treatment that can help with both the health of your hair and its shade.

Glosses typically help with shine and evens tones. The Gloss provides shine and revitalises dull hair. A Gloss can be clear or tinted, and can be used to maintain or enhance colour.

Do I need to confirm my booking?

Yes you need to confirm your appointment 48 hours prior to your appointment time.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you have confirmed your appointment and cancel within the final 48 hours of your booking then you will be charged the following:

Blow dry appointments - the full price
$100 for cut appointments
$200 for colour appointments
$250 for colour + cut appointments.

Do you have parking at your salon?

There is free 2 hour parking in the garage underneath the salon.

Do I need a blow dry or dry off?

Please book your desired finish so you have time for your stylist to cut or blowdry if wanted

Can I bring my child, friend or dog?

No, as much as we love children and pets Bloe is a small space and we need to be conscious of our space and the impact they may have on other clients experience as well as your stylist.

What should I wear?

Please no white clothes or high necks if you can! Probably not your best designer pieces either even though we are incredibly careful at all times it is a work space with lots going on!

What should I do if I have additions?

Please call the salon before your appointment so we can add the additional time.

Is a trim still a haircut price?

Yes, whether it is a trim or a complete makeover we charge the same price that reflects our stylists incredible skills and time.

What happens if show up with wet hair?

We will have to charge you for a dry off.
